My Story

​

I found my passion for psychology after emigrating to Sydney Australia. I joined a psychotherapy process group as well as individual therapy. It was through my own transformation that I recognised the power of therapy and the importance of a therapeutic relationship. After returning to South Africa I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychological Counselling and Honours Degree in Psychology. I further completed my masters degree in Clinical Psychology.

For my internship I worked at Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital and worked within a diverse setting, including the forensic unit and  the dual diagnosis unit. I completed my community service year at Tara H. Moross Psychiatric Hospital working within the psychotherapy unit using predominately Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Independent Practitioner in Clinical Psychology.
